Who is this school board member?
She has been on the School Board for 13 years. She is a Gresham graduate. She is a retired teacher of 32 years. She had an excellent career choice and loved every year that she taught. She enjoys being outside, gardening, walking in the woods, all kinds of hunting, cooking, crafting, and visiting with friends and family.
Her favorite football team: Green Bay Packers.
Her favorite thing to eat: anything Italien.
Her favorite thing to drink: iced tea.
Her favorite candy: anything chocolate.
Her favorite class when she was in school: English.
Her favorite hobbies are: walking in the woods, stamping cards, and spending time outside.
Her favorite thing as a Board member: she enjoys her colleagues on the board. It has been an interesting journey, and she really likes staying in this learning environment.
Her favorite things about Gresham School District: the loyalty of community members is the absolute best! She is proud of the growth of our District, and the teachers, staff, students, and public have made this growth possible. We have a wonderful district, and she looks forward to continued successes here.

She has been a member of the Gresham School Board for 4.5 years. She is a Gresham graduate. She has changed careers after 30 years of teaching K-12 through college. She has enjoyed her years of teaching. Currently, she is the Director of Human Services for Stockbridge-Munsee Community. She has a PhD in Educational Leadership. She and her husband enjoy their 3 adult children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. They hunt and fish with them, and they help with all my gardening and landscaping plans. They have huge Christmas Eve gatherings.

Her Favorite Thing as a Board Member-She enjoys the responsibility of being a member on our school board because we are helping to create a sustainable learning environment with the future of our small community as the focus. She believes that changing times call for the most current curriculum and technology. Along with the support of administration and teaching staff who are willing to lead, this makes for a strong academic institution. It takes time for change and patience for those working towards the same goals.
Favorite Thing About Gresham School District-The way the community is part of the school. She believes the support of the community is a huge factor as to why we continue to improve and keep a school in our community.
