***Here are a few words of wisdom:
With so much violence in our world today, it's plain to see that some-
where along the way, many of us have lost our reverence for life. Reverence
means a "a feeling of love, awe, and esteem." When we show
reverence for life, we understand that life is an awesome gift.
Albert Schwitzer understood this. He made incredible contributions
to the world. He was a physician, musician, and philosopher, and he
devoted a great deal of his life to those in need.
Now listen carefully to what he says to us today: By practicing a reverence for life,
we become good, deep, and alive.
Today, be aware of how awesome it is simply to be alive. Think about
all the possibilities that life offers you each day! Practice a reverence for
life, and, like Albert Schwitzer, you'll feel better about yourself and the
world around you.
With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not. The choice is yours.
