***Here are a few words of wisdom:
Do you ever find yourself putting people down simply because they are
different from you? Do you criticize them for their actions or their clothes
or the way they look. Maybe you don't criticize them out loud, but you are
thinking to yourself, "This person is really weird!" or "What a nerd!"
Most of the time , when we put others down, we don't really understand
who they are or what their lives are really all about. This lack of
understanding is what causes so much disharmony in the world, whether
that disharmony is between races, religions, or groups of friends at school.
There's an old American proverb that goes like this:
Never criticize a man until you've walked a mile
in his moccasins.
Next time you are tempted to put someone down who is different from you,
try putting yourself in his or her shoes first.
With something to think about, Make it a great day . . . . or not. The choice is yours.
