***The HS track team had a solid performance at the Conference meet in Tri-County last Friday evening, even with a rain delay.  Many PR's were achieved by our athletes, including the men's 4x100 and 4x200 relays.  Girls took 4th place overall and boys 5th place, with only 9 girls and 8 boys competing.  The girls team set a new overall points record of 113 points scored.  Isabella had 1st in the High Jump, 1st in Shot put, and 1st in the girls 4x100 relay along with Jemy, Addison, and Tia, and 1st in the 4x200 relay with Jemy, Alivia, and Tia.  Bryson pushed through and managed to get 3rd in the mile while nursing a foot injury, and Emily had 3rd in shot put.  The boys 4x100 team had second place with Ethan, Cody, Kobe, and Riley, and third place in the 4x200.  Super job to all athletes!   Our last seasonal meet before regionals is this Thursday in Manawa.

***Here are a few words of wisdom:

You know those little plastic alarms that clothing stores put on jeans and

shirts and bathing suits . . . and the clerks that stand in front of the dressing rooms and check how many things you take in and how many

things you bring out. . . and the security cameras . . . and the security

guards? All those things cost a lot of money, and retail stores have to

spend all that money because so many people try to steal from them.

Who do you suppose pays for all that security stuff? WE DO! That's right!

We pay for it with higher prices.

Now imagine this: What would it be like if everyone were honest and

trustworthy and stores didn't need to spend so much money on security?

They could drop all their prices, and you could have many more clothes

hanging in your closet for the same amount of money you spend now.

Imagine That!

We all hurt when people so the wrong thing, but as they say in Hawaii:

No one is hurt by doing the right thing.

Today, remember, everyone wins when we do what's right.

With something to think about ....Make it a great day . . . Or not.

The choice is yours.
