***Here are a few words of wisdom:
We live in a world that seems to be getting smaller. In fact, the world
seems to be getting so small that some people call Planet Earth a global
village.
Let's think about that. In the past, a village was made up of people of the
same race with common ideas about life. Today, our global village is very diverse, with people of many, many different religions, races, cultures,
governments, and points of view.
If we are to survive together in our global village, we must learn to accept
our differences. Listen to the words of scientist Rene' Dubos:
Human diversity makes tolerance more than a virtue.
it makes it a requirement for survival.
In other words, tolerating others is more than simply the nice thing to do.
We must be tolerant if we are going to survive. Today, try to be more
understanding of those who are different from you.
***With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not.
The choice is yours.
