***Here are a few words of wisdom:

Have you been feeling sorry for yourself lately? Do you tell yourself things
like: "Well, I could be a 'A' student if I had a computer at home". . .or
. . . "If I weren't so short, I could be a great basketball player" . . . or . . ."If I
had expensive clothes to wear, I would have lots of friends. too." It's easy
to make excuses for ourselves and to resent others when we sink into
self-pity.
It's important to remember that all of us have challenges in our lives.
Beethoven composed some of his greatest music after he lost his hearing.
Mugsy Bose, only 5 feet 3 inches tall, became a professional basketball
player. And the rich and famous singer Dolly Parton was born and raised
in poverty.
Today, focus on your strengths, not your weaknesses . . . on what you
have instead of on what you don't have.. . . on your successes and not on
your failures. Remember:
Self-pity keeps us from becoming all we can be.
With something to think about, Make it a great day . . or not. The choice is yours.
